Amazing hotel with superb views, great layout and exceptional hospitality [pre- season review] We have picked this hotel for a pre- season getaway to have a relaxed time at the seaside. I pretty much expected no crowds around and being able to relax in a beautiful environment. The hotel has everything to fulfil that. * It was well pre- season, the hotel only opened a couple of days before we arrived, so some outlets ( beach bar, garden restaurant, etc..) were still not open, but I kind of anticipated that. The main season on Crete is clearly just starting after mid- April. Outdoor and indoor pools were all up, main restaurant was serving breakfast and dinner that time. There were barely any guests around, so it was really a great escape - exactly what we wanted. ** Check- in / check out was very smooth, probably the best experience ever - everyone at the front desk was super helpful and kind, Eleni, Maria and Alexandra are all very professional and looked after us well all the time throughout our stay. We have been upgraded to a Junior suite with sea view ( thank you!) - and shown to our room, and explained everything. *** The suite was well equipped, A/C was working well, beds were comfortable, bath/ shower was nice, good pressure, great temperatures. We've had both a smaller and a bigger balcony - one with table and chairs, the other one with loungers. **** Housekeeping did a great job, the room was attended every day, properly cleaned and items replenished. ***** Since some outlets were not open, we had to get our drinks from the main restaurant / bar, but this was always sorted without delay with the best customer service ever. Christos and his team has shown excellent hospitality all the time. Breakfast had a good offer and was always tasty. We have dinner at the hotel only once - which was great - the rest of the days we have been trying various local restaurants. (good variety in the village)

We absolutely love Aquila Elounda Village resort! The accommodation is a of a high standard and the staff are exceptional; warm, friendly and focussed on ensuring you have a lovely holiday. We are a family of 4 adults and it suited us all - whether sunbathing on the private beach or deck, swimming in the sea or pools, hanging out at the Beach Bar, enjoying the spectacular views and best of all the delicious cuisine. We stayed Premium All Inclusive and found it to be excellent value, with the drinks and water and plenty of choice. The main restaurant serves delicious food choices and the a la carte restaurants offered plenty of options within the all inclusive at a very high standard of cuisine. We have high food standards and we loved it all! There is a resort cocktail menu which we enjoyed trying out. Entertainment is tasteful - a beach party one evening and a disco another and there are various activities during the day to take part in - nothing is obvious though, all discreet and well done. Location is excellent with just a short taxi ride to Elounda or Agios Nikolaos. Spinolonga is well worth a visit - a highlight for us!

If you want to have good vacation, do nothing, drink good wines, eat good food and have the best rest - it’s place for you. We reset our bodies here, it’s so quiet place, peacefull. You have pools, good sea spot, restaurants, bars, mini market, spa.. Everyday you can track plans and events at the hotel by their app. There are excursions, movie nights, and many more. It’s far from airport and city, but it’s village, just for the rest. If you want to go to different beaches, restaurants, you need to rent a car. We had the best 6 nights here and then went to Malia for 2 nights to have a little fun at discos, bars and crowd, the best decision!

The property and grounds are without a doubt beautiful. The staff are so incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had our a private pool shared with our neighbours who were in our group, we had requested this when we booked and were so pleased we got the two rooms together. The rooms were stunning, champagne and rose wine FOC on arrival plus midnight snacks available as we checked in late. The beach bar is stunning it's on a cliff edge looking over the bay and there are steps (easy steps) down to the beach. Loved every second of our holiday.

The hotel is great. Private beach one of the best I ever been. Service was great, we had an upgraded huge room, wine and cake as a welcome gift. Stuff was really helpful. Area is beautiful and quiet.
